I'm not really annoyed about this, just curious.
Whyyyyyyyy is there such a difference in prices for doujinshi on eBay? Particularly, and this is my ranty bit, whyyyy does it the price go up with the kind of pairing?
I was looking up two different pairings, same show… and one was supah-megah-cheap, only three dollars! For an anthology! The shipping was reasonable! They offered combined! The book was supposedly in excellent condition! It was like under ten bucks! I did a happy dance and brought the thing.
Now, I look for the other pairing… AND WHUT THERE’S NOTHING UNDER TWENTY DOLLARS. The cheapest one there - just a single one, maybe sixty pages – was more than three times what I paid in total for the first! Blargh! Most of them averaged between twenty-five to fifty! Not counting shipping! THERE WASN’T EVEN A CHANGE IN RATING :<
Difference is: One was yaoi, the other was het.
What? Why?
I mean, hey, I don’t mind it or anything but WHAT THE HELL, WHEN DID MEN BECOME SO CHEAP. I *like* het. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY SO MUCH EXTRA FOR A PAIR OF BOOBS?
